I am currently a Para-educator and I work one on one with elementary students in all subject areas. I think Financial Literacy is a life skill and should be learned by all. Some students struggle with identifying money and the value of each coin. In the past we have just used flash cards and repetition when identifying coins. I’ve learned that the students I work with typically enjoy games. I am hoping to find or create games that can be used to help students identify money.
I also used to teach Physical Education and I was hoping this course would help provide ideas on how to incorporate Financial Literacy skills in this area as well.
