I will be teaching a few new sections of Financial Literacy for the first time this coming school year at the high school level. This course is now required by the state of Iowa for all high school students. I am a Social Studies teacher. I teach both World and American History, so I will just be adding this class to my list of course work. I think it will be important to learn to financial life skills that are taught throughout this course for the students. These are skills that they will use as they move forward into adulthood.
