I am currently a 4th grade Title 1 Instructional Assistant. Financial literacy can be reinforced in our small group reading through the use of nonfiction text related to the subject being taught in the classroom. Through the use of the text and our conversation, students will have better background knowledge to help them be successful when learning about finances.
