I work with Pre-K students. It's very important for them to learn about money. We have a dramatic play area that has play food and a cash register. They also have play credit cards and gift cards. making sure they know the coins and how much they are worth and the same with the dollar bills. Also for them to know you have to pay for gift cards and pay for items you put on a credit card.
When it comes to new ideas, watchmaking as a whole can be stale or at the very least, slow. In some link ways, that's a good thing. I like that I can link understand how a watch works because it's remained largely the same since Thomas Mudge invented the lever escapement in 1755. But innovation marches on.
