As a business teacher, this fits in very easily with my classes.  In Accounting, students are taught how to prepare a payroll as an employer.  When covering this unit, I can talk about how it relates to them when they have a job and are receiving a paycheck.  I would discuss taxes and what can all be taken out of their pay check.
