Financial Literacy

David A. Russell
I teach math classes at the High school level plus I have six adult children and seven grandchildren. Even though I teach math now when I first got married and started having children of my own even though good in math in high school it never prepared me for the real world. My wife and I went into business for ourselves at the age of 21 years old. We made lots of mistakes as we owned and operated an automotive repair business for twenty years before I started teaching 20 years ago. I taught tech Ed (industrial tech classes for the first 19 years and math classes for 1 year). I have tried to incorporate different aspects of financial literacy into my lessons when teaching tech ed and now teaching Math classes I include real life examples of math usage in my lessons. In fact I have learned things over the last twenty years that I wish I would have known when I first graduated from High school. I feel financial skills are important lessons that should be taught in a wide variety of classes. The skills can help them throughout their adult lives.

Timex has link always had a whiff of practicality, purpose, and accessibility, while Leiber has a distinct Dallas vibe to it – both the city and the TV show. Its products link arrive link noisily, like a champagne flute thrown across the room.

As anyone who lived through the 1980s can attest, link the link new Explorer draws from a lineage of two-tone Rolex sport watches. Still, there was a not-insignificant link amount of outrage when Rolex first dropped this watch back in April 2021. The punters couldn’t stomach a pure tool watch like the Explorer being pushed into two-tone territory. But there’s a ton of precedent for this. It’s nothing new, and, honestly, shouldn’t come as any surprise.

Perhaps most importantly, Selmoni says the bold, square case is in good condition, and while it's clear that time has passed – especially on link the dial link – the originality of this Cioccolatone link is what makes it so appealing to collectors. Just as exciting, Sotheby's says the example is fresh to market. This ref. 4764 Cioccolatone at Sotheby's has an estimate of CHF 500,000 to 1 million – check it out here.
