In my current teaching position I teach Spanish I and II at the High School Level. In Spanish II we do a unit on clothing, accessories, making purchases, and methods of payments. We also talk some about currencies used in the Spanish Speaking world. This would be a good opportunity facilitate some lessons that surround the idea of financial literacy. I am excited to apply what I learn from this course in my classroom as well as in areas of my personal life.
