Financial Literacy

I currently assist in a preschool classroom. Play is very important part of the day for the children. In the Dramatic Play Center we have a cash register with dollar bills and coins. They can play store and buy items from each other. Also, when we talk about the letters of Alphabet we mention words that start with "Q" for example. Q is for Quarter. They have a frame of reference since they play with Quarters in Dramatic Play Center.
