What was new learning for you?
New to me was that Color stands for "Consists of Hue." I did not know that the intensity of brightness and value (light or dark) was part of the definition of "Color."

What was a review?
A review for me were some of the elements: line, shape, color. I knew the basics of what consisted of art, but there were many that were new to me.

How can you apply these concepts to a content area you currently teach?
I can use the new concepts when I teach new Social Studies projects. The students love creating art and visuals for current topics. For example: Using these elements, make a picture of Harriet Tubman on the Underground Railroad, making sure to include lines, hue, lightness, darkness, and shapes.

A 3D printing slicer is one of the most essential tools for turning digital designs into physical objects. A powerful slicer does much more than just divide a model into layers—it optimizes the printing process to deliver accuracy, efficiency, and durability. With advanced algorithms, these slicers generate precise toolpaths, improve surface quality, and minimize print time without compromising strength.

Modern slicers also provide smart features such as automatic support placement, material-specific profiles, and customizable settings that suit both beginners and expert users. They enable seamless compatibility with a wide range of printers, making the workflow smoother and more reliable.

By using a powerful 3D printing slicer, creators can unlock the full potential of their machines, achieving consistent results whether printing prototypes, functional parts, or detailed models. It stands as a key bridge between imagination and reality in the world of additive manufacturing.

I just visited google block breakerand had a fun time playing the retro-style “brick-breaker” arcade game. The graphics are bright and clean, and the power-ups add a nice twist to the classic paddle-and-ball game play. It loads quickly in the browser, with no signup required, which is great for a quick break. One thing I noticed is the difficulty ramps up fast: if you’re only casually playing it might get a bit intense. Overall: simple, fun, and a nice little diversion.
