What was new learning for you?
Although, I knew what horizontal, vertical, and diagonal lines were, I had never heard a horizontal line be described as calm, rest, or death. Once I read all of the other definitions of the other lines, I could see how those descriptions made sense.
What was review?
I was familiar with primary and secondary colors, as well as the color wheel.
How can you apply these concepts to a content area that you currently teach?
I currently teach sixth grade math. Before the closure of our school due to coronavirus, students were learning about area and surface area of 2D and 3D shapes and forms. Our next project was going to be developing a city of geometric shapes and forms.
