What speaks to you?
I have enjoyed being exposed to what art integration truly is and how it is different from art enhancement. I believe it is a great way to make students more invested in their learning and expose them to multiple curriculum in an enjoyable manner.
Does it give you any ideas?
I would love to be able to create a lesson using music or art to enhance my student's learning. The only worry I have is how I am going to be able to plan with my school's music or art teacher to accomplish art integration.
How do you integrate art into your current curriculum?
Art integration could easily be tied into any of the other subjects. I believe language arts and art would pair well together, as well as math and music. Social Studies and Science could use either art or music as well as acting.
Other reactions?
I am wondering if adding art enhancements as a starting point would be acceptable and then moving into art integration as I become familiar with the arts standards.
