The contact and Group functions of GMAIL are an amazing way to efficiently communicate with large groups of students, and or parents. By creating contacts and relevant groups, I can assure wide spread communication with all relevant parties in one message. I have documented notice of what, when and to who information was sent.
This is a fantastic way to ensure all students and/or parents are receiving the same updates to homework, activities, tests, special requests, etc. at the time.
By labeling conversations by assignment, activity or other, I can easily organize communications by topics, and not just by recipients or subject line.
