Our entire district uses the Gmail system. All of our students have a Gmail account, however, 4th grade and lower do not have access to using the Gmail system. I teach 4th grade. I am still able to create groups using their Gmail accounts which I find useful when sharing documents. Gmail for me is used most often with parent contact and staff communication. Being able to type "staff group" in vs each staff member individually is a massive time saver. I also plan on using the labels more often to help organize the massive amounts of emails that seem to collect in my inbox. I also enjoyed checking out the labs to see what I can use to make life easier.
