As a substitute it is unlikely that I will be involved with the creation of group emails etc.. However, the use of gmail in the classroom is being used heavily by most of the teachers that I sub for. My comfort level will be much greater when I have questions come up regarding access and or location of assignments sent by their regular teacher.
I usually do a "riddle of the day" on the white boards, so I loved the idea of putting a riddle in the group message to all students.
