One of the things I have done in the past as a high school administrator is to set up groups for each grade level at the high school. We have labeled them by the year they graduate. (Ex. 2015@bcluw.org) It is very easy for students to send information between each other when they have class meetings, or if they need to organize classmates to work concessions, etc. I also included myself in the group in order to monitor communication. Staff members have also organized students by committees or by organizations. This really eases the opportunity to collaborate without having to type in each email.
I also like the opportunity to label emails as a tool to organize what I am receiving. When I have groups that I need to work with and I often label emails so I can easily find them when I am short on time. I can sort by the topic or by the email address of the individual. Some individuals may have many labels.
