I am a retired administrator and I use gmail as an organizational tool for received messages (I did learn to color code which I had not been doing but am now!). Labelling and the use of folders helps keep the messages at a click or two away. I also use group messaging and have been able to send text messages from the computer to teachers as well. It is SO convenient!!
