I think there are a lot of untapped resources in Gmail that would be beneficial. I love the idea of turning on the calendar in Labs so students are able to see their week at a glance. For example if they know they have a test on Friday, this gives them another visual reminder that they have three days to study. "Tasks" is another useful tool. Throughout the day, the instructor can ask that students add to their "task list" and it's almost like another assignment book. For example in their task list they could write "Bring home study guide for test Friday."
