I am a school counselor and work with all students grades K-8. While I am not in each classroom every day, I could see using the gmail features with my 6-8th graders for several of the topics we discuss. I am interested in using Hangouts with them as a way for them to talk to each other or post questions and discuss assignments, especially when we get into our career awareness unit and start making resumes and having mock interviews.
I currently use gmail daily to communicate with parents, teachers and admins for various issues. I will use the CC or sometimes BCC feature on email replies when appropriate.
