GMail in the classroom

I can see that using Gmail in the classroom could be very beneficial for teachers, parents, and students.   It provides teachers, staff, students, and parents to be able to communicate effectively. It can help organize emails and using the calendar for reminders and invitations to assignments and/or meetings can be sent through email. When accepted, these invitations go directly to the calendar as a reminder.  I find this to be very helpful since I create a lot of parent meetings with staff for IEP's.
