GMail

Like some of the other participants, I've been using gmail for quite some time, too. Even so, I notice that there are many things that spike my interest. I like the idea of categorizing my emails. I have so many incoming and I think this would be a more efficient use of time. I also like the FAQ for parents and students. Another interesting thing to me is the translating option. I work with many ELL students and this would really benefit both, students and parents when communicating. I want to look into the canned comments, too, as I do send daily reminders to parents who have students with late work. This would be easier than typing an individual email every time.

The "Lab" tab caught m interest, and I have been able to make some changes to my email which makes it much simpler now for me to use.  Specifically the right-hand message board.  MOving that and cleaning it up has made communication with others easier to do.
