Gmail In the Classroom

As a junior high/high school teacher I like to use gmail to communicate with students, staff, and parents.  By making a contact group of each class I can share information and resources.  It is also an easy way to send out information to students who are absent along with any resources they may need.  Gmail is also helpful in the way it can be used as a record. If a student has a low grade you have proof that you have contacted them about missing work.
