Gmail and an Administrative Team

Gmail has proven to be a very powerful tool for my administrative team. Unfortunately, to some degree, it has become a file cabinet of sorts. We have more email than ever before. I look forward to seeing how we might change our practice and move away from using it like a file cabinet.

An additional thought about gmail and my work is that the translation feature could help us communicate with families whose primary language is not English. I could see the translation feature really facilitating our attempts to communicate with all families. I don't know that any of my team have used this feature and I will have to look into it.
