a great way to utilize Gmail as a substitute teacher is by giving the regular teacher you email to forward the lesson plans as well as any additional information and resources necessary for the day's work. It has allowed me to be more prepared when I have had advanced notice of the needed substitution. Subbing in many different subject areas, it it necessary to have the opportunity to go over the subject matter early, in the event of questions or further inquiries.
