Gmail for contacting parents

Since I work directly with parents and not students, I plan to set up labels for each family which will keep me more organized and enable me to access previous emails more quickly.  

I also intend to do more with my smartphone and my email, since I work from home and answer emails and phone calls from parents during the day.  Though I don't have any specific plans, after this class, I intend to explore this more thoroughly.  Using my phone will enable me to get back to parents much more quickly.

Using groups has enabled me to forwarded messages to my families.  I was unaware of the ability to drag and drop a contact from the recipient line to the blind copy line.  I will be using that feature more in the future.  

I also like that I have groups for other staff and the various teams I am on.
