I'm not new to gmail but I've never really understood the labels or used them before now. I do like how this helps keep my emails organized. I especially like how I can assign multiple labels to an email. Another function I didn't know about before this course is the ability to make our own filters. I love how I can make a filter to automatically assign labels as emails come in. I viewed this as a necessary evil to keep email organized, now I don't have to assign label to every email that come in; the filter automatically does it for me. :)
