Now that I realize how simple it is to create labels for each of my classes (6), I can send a specific email for each of those classes, and let them know of any changes in assignments due dates, materials they need to bring, etc.
We have a In School Suspension program that is off-site, and in the past I made copies and send the information through inter office mail. I can now email the student, attach videos I want them to watch, add links to websites they need to access, etc. Their questions come directly to me, and my response time has greatly improved.
We are starting a Saturday School for kids that are falling behind. We will do an email blast to all 230 student families this Friday, in addition to a hard copy that will be sent home.
