Our school has just opened up the Gmail part of our GSuite for staff and students. I will be creating groups to make e-mailing my classes and ensembles easier. I will also create groups of students/parents for various events that my students attend (honor bands, honor choirs, etc). This will allow me to communicate schedules and information with entire groups rather than sending individually and typing in addresses one at a time (our current email disallows teachers creating or accessing email groups). I will also apply filters to my inbox for ease of organization. I use google classroom, so I will not be using gmail to collect assignments.
