I teach four and five-year-old preschool. The main way that I would use gmail in the classroom is in communication with families. Gmail would be used for emailing parents, sending class reminders and party notifications, and attaching classroom forms. I particularly liked learning about the "canned response" feature to send the same message to multiple people. I also appreciate the "task list" feature, as it gives me another way to keep track of things to accomplish.
