Gmail in classroom

Being an elementary Physical Education teacher, Gmail comes in quite handy when communicating with other busy teachers and staff in the building. I am always emailing my secretary to keep her updated on important events, if I will be taking a class outside, or if I need to switch around classes. Emailing my principal is a lot easier than trying to chase him around the building too. I have also used gmail to communicate with parents if I am unable to get ahold of them via telephone. I am hoping to become more comfortable with some of the other features, like calendar and hangouts to make communicating easier. I like the idea of creating labels to help organize my emails, since they are never ending!!!
