Gmail in grad courses

I teach graduate students. Many of them are more familiar with Google than I am. I'm thinking about creating a Google account just to communicate and organize information for multiple sections of the same course. I'll use Circles to communicate with students in a particular section.  I will be able to schedule meetings and attach information about required tasks or reading.
