Gmail in schools

I am a teacher leader that works at the district level, so I can't speak to how to use it in my classroom, but I can speak to how beneficial it would be for our entire district to utilize this. We are a GAFE District and utilize all Google Docs, Google Hangouts,  Google Calendar, etc. The only tool we really aren't utilizing yet is gmail. The filter feature would help teachers prioritize which emails need to be handling immediately, and which emails contain nice to know information. The translation feature would all teachers to communicate not only with parents, but to check for understanding during class with students that need that support.  Working at the district level, having group lists is a must. I like this feature because it will shave so much time off the communication that must be sent out. We host many PD's and meetings, so the reminder feature would keep everyone up to date and on track.
