I find that by using gmail in the classroom is a very unique way of keeping in touch with both students and parents. It's a very basic way to correspond even for a person who has have basic computer skills. I like all the additional features gmail in the classroom offers. From a teacher's perspective, using email in the classroom for assignments is one of the best features.
