Gmail in the Classroom

I use gmail in my classroom daily. I use email to stay in contact with colleagues, parents and students. Most recent, I have started using google groups for hosting whole class or small group discussions. I have really liked the result of this because students who tend to not say much during a live discussion, say more using this version.
