Gmail in the Classroom

I really enjoy using Gmail inside the classroom and I know my students do too.  We use it as a way to communicate and share classroom assignments through google drive.  I do allow my students to send emails back and forth inside the classroom, practicing proper digital etiquette, and building upon our digital skills.  Students are going to use email as a form of communication in the future, therefore the earlier they become fluent and productive at it the better.
