Gmail in the Classroom

I use Gmail on a daily basis, but didn't realize it offered so many helpful tools.  I really like the idea of putting contacts intro groups.  This will be a super easy way to email/communicate with students.  I'd also like to teach/share with my students the label feature.  This would be a good way to help students keep their gmail better organized, so they have an easier time locating emails.  I also really liked the idea of creating pen pals with students in other states or countries to support literacy and communication skills.  Great idea!
