Gmail in the Classroom

I think Gmail in the classroom will be a very helpful tool to use in the classroom.  I am a certified substitute teacher, so I would not use gmail to communicate with parents or students.  However, it will be very useful when I give the classroom teacher a recap of the school day.  I will be able to let the teacher know what the students accomplished throughout the day.  It will also be a confidential tool to let the teacher know if a student was having issues.  

I think the translation feature would be extremely useful for the classroom teacher.  It keeps the communication open with the teacher and the parents.
