Gmail in the Classroom

Gmail is extremely useful within the classroom.  Students are using Gmail more and more due to the pandemic and different models of learning.  At the start of this semester, I walked every class through the proper way of emailing a teacher or sending a professional email.  They also added their signature if it was not already set.  My next step would be to teach them how to create and manage folders so they can organize their inboxes more efficiently.  I also create groups (one for students and one for parents) to give an introduction to the class and send out email reminders as needed throughout the semester.  I would like to get better at using Google Calendar with students and teaching them how to put in reminders, manage various events, and etc.
