Coming from an elementary perspective, I can see many uses for this tool! Our 4th and 5th grade students are one to one with iPads and already have Gmail addresses. They are able to log into many websites and email their teachers using their iPad and address.
I like the idea of using Gmail for pen pals in different countries, as I have never seen this done before. I think it would be a great addition to any lesson or unit!
