Gmail in the Classroom

This is a great way to communicate with students and parents.  In our middle school,  students are assigned a Ipad for the school year.  It is so easy for us teachers to be able to communicate a new assignment to all the students in our class.  Also allowing students to communicate with their teachers after school hours with questions on any assignment or when they have been absent and missed and assignment.  It's also a great way to email parents when there is a general announcement or event going on in the room that the parents should be aware of.  We are also able to email all parents with reminders of tests or projects coming up so they are able to help their child be prepared.
