Gmail in the Classroom

I have used Gmail to connect with parents at the beginning of a semester to touch base with them about the goings on in our classes.  I also find it efficient to send my roster group emails of important dates and reminders.  A group email with the students of my class can serve to be great documentation about conversations had.  This way if parents have issues down the road about my communication with their son/daughter, I can share with them the emails that I've sent out.  Better to be proactive!!
