One way I can use this feature is to add parents and send out weekly and/or monthly ideas for working with their children. I could use the feature to select different set of parents to get specific information tailored to their child's needs and or age group (since I work with multiple age students). By adding a FAQ group list, I could field questions or concerns regarding the ideas contained in the email.
