Gmail in the Classroom

Jamie Shakespeare
In the past, I have sent students to websites on the computer and had to write it down on the whiteboard or show them the link on my SMARTboard. Now that my students are set up with Gmail, it will be easy to mass email my classes with the links to the websites for the students to click on without having them type it in themselves. This also saves the hassle of students typing it in incorrectly. Reminder emails for assignments can be used. If an email is needing to be sent to a parent for something, I can also CC the student on the email as well.
