Gmail in the Classroom

In our school each student has a gmail account. At the beginning of each semester I set up contact groups for each of the classes. I use these groups to quickly and easily communicate with students. I often send them resources for assignments and reminders about due dates, tests, and quizzes.

Students often use Gmail to send me messages outside of class time. It is a nice way for students to get clarification on assignments and projects. Gmail has been a very valuable resource in my classroom.
