Gmail in the classroom and beyond

I am in charge of many groups (junior class, travel abroad) so this is very useful when setting up groups, check off lists with due dates, as well as communicating with parents.  My preferred method of communication by far.

I agree! Email has been a great tool for me to stay connected with parents...and it eliminates the need for paper! It also helps to keep them informed...especially when students don't always get papers home in their backpacks.
