Gmail in the classroom

I have used gmail in the classroom for a few years now.  I have a good understanding of the basic functionality however I know I can use it for much more.  Using the folder and/or labels to organize my emails will be useful.  I receive school emails, emails from parents, personal emails, etc. that I would love to keep separate.  At times, it can be overwhelming sifting through hundreds of emails!
