Gmail in the classroom

Katelyn Howell
Currently I use gmail in the classroom to connect with parents and family members for classroom support. I also use gmail to communicate with outside resources to come into my classroom and present new materials and information to my class. There are also email forums I am a part of such as newsletters to provide me with new resources available that are free or low cost to me as an educator. I am now aware of how to create filters and labels to use to sort through my e-mails in a timely manner. This way I have quick and easy access to important e-mails from our principal or other important co-workers. My students are recently provided with school laptops and email, with these tutorial videos I am going to be able to share new information to my students and parents as needed. I wonder what other ways I can bring gmail to the classroom and my students.
