Gmail in the classroom

There are many ways that Gmail can be used in the classroom. First of all, I would use it to communicate with parents. I would share with parents both the good and bad of their child in the classroom. I would also share with parents important information like what is going on in the school, new material that we will be going over and assignments that are due.Secondly,  I would also use Gmail to send information to my students especially directions to assignments. They would also use Gmail to send their finished assignments to me. Third, Gmail is especially important in communicating with colleagues, whether it is asking for help, sharing a fun new teaching strategy or figuring out when the next time we can meet would be. Gmail is very important in my everyday teaching life.
