Gmail in the classroom

Laura Horst
I have spent a great deal of time grouping students into classes that I teach to more quickly send group emails. I was surprised to see the amount of information I could include in Google Contacts. Adding a telephone number to an address speeds up the process of contacting students in extra-curricular events such as music and sports practices. (Every student in my school is issued a Gmail account making this process very easy.)

Great idea to have the phone number with the email contacts- all the info in one place can be a life saver at times.
