Gmail in the classroom

Danielle Kuhlmann
As a 5th grade teacher, I rely heavily on Gmail. I need to be organized to keep calm. ;)
I have all of my e-mails labeled, and in specific folders. The e-mails that remain in the inbox or the e-mails that have specific dates, or is an e-mail that I need to look further into prior to 'filing' it in its appropriate folder or into the trash. I have been able to filter through my e-mails now to search for specific things that have been sent to me. I have my 5th grade parents in their own contact group. I have also created a signature for my e-mail, this way it's automatic when I send out my e-mails. I would love to get involved with the lab function, but our districts outside tech company hasn't 'approved' of that yet. Also, hangouts no longer works for my e-mail, and that is currently being worked on at the moment through our tech office.
