I use my school issued Gmail account on a daily basis to communicate with K-12 faculty and staff. Our superintendent and principals send weekly agendas and communication through Gmail. Gmail is a frequent communication tool for parents and teachers, and students in middle school and high school use their gmail accounts to communicate with their teachers in our district. I've had substitutes reach out to me via Gmail to give me an overview of the day's events or changes in lesson plans.
